Mid-week bunny fix

Peeper on the job!

Peeper the bunny isn’t the friendliest of rabbits and she would just as soon box and growl as allow herself to be petted; unless you have a handful of strawberries, that is!

But like most any bunny, she’s a busybody! The alarm guy’s work mat spread across the floor and covered with assorted tools and a multitude of plastic packages and little doodads proved just too much for her curiosity and she had to investigate and climb all over everything. She even chinned a couple of his power tools!

😉

I had to put her back in her cage when she started trying to run off with his stuff, though. Ever watch a bunny try to run with a cardboard box in her mouth? It’s the funniest thing, really.

  1. My bunny, Thistle, has to be “right there” whenever I have a project on the go. He needs to inspect every tool and be up close to whatever it is I am doing. He’s my little helper and he really gets peeved if I put him in an other room so I can work in peace. Actually, I have to admit that I’ve come to enjoy him “helping” me.

  2. Thanks for the fix! Happy to see the bunny posts again and this one is a good chuckle.

Do try to get a pic of her (or another) trying to carry something away – would Love to see that!

  3. Oooh Bunny fix! Niblet tries to run with books–the older, the better. I think he loves that old yellowed paper smell (and taste). He can eat the cover off a paperback in no time!

    Go Peeper–keep on helping!

  4. Cardboard and books, she knows what she likes.

Do you have a good source for fruit tree trimmings, so she has something she can chew?

I used to provide one of my clients with apple branches for his bunnies. Made me all happy to trim those trees, knowing they were providing many happy gnawing hours…
