There were a couple of distant loons, a speck raft of red-breasted mergansers, a long-tailed duck or two, an imaginary harbor seal, a nice flock of faraway snow buntings and great looks at the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.birds.cornell.edu\/AllAboutBirds\/BirdGuide\/Great_Black-backed_Gull.html\"><span style=\"font-size:85%;\">world&#8217;s largest gull<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size:85%;\">.<\/p>\n<p>Yawn.<\/p>\n<p>We did get to see this g<\/span><span style=\"font-size:85%;\">reat big boat heading out to sea though. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size:85%;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size:85%;\">Despite th<a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_YcXlERVmPdE\/SaC8OOEDqRI\/AAAAAAAADTY\/5ct8L_bIwbM\/s800-h\/IMG_8628.JPG\"><span style=\"font-size:85%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5305447313521748242\" style=\"FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 134px\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.somewhereinnj.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/IMG_8628-300x200.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/span><\/a>e lack of birds, it was a beautiful day to be out, with a hint of spring in the air.
