Sailing wisdom

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Any sailors among us?

😉

I had just one experience as a child in sailboat that I remember looked something like this. I didn’t fall overboard or get seasick. Considering how scared I was… both major triumphs!

Now… to have that same opportunity today…

  1. Sailing I love–although I do not know how, and must be a passenger only.
Speed boats not so enticing to me–they move too fast to see the beauty around.

  2. You want to sail on the other guy’s boat. Let them do all the worrying, fixing, cleaning, and bill paying.

Or as some say, get on your best clothes and fill the pockets with $100 bills. Stand in a cold shower and shove the bills down the drain. If that feels good, get a sailboat.

    Been there – done that!

Beautiful boat … oh if only ….. nahhhhhhh.
